Office stress is a very frequent occurrence. Office stress comes about because of the pressures of the work, which is frequently not so easy to define, particularly in a small firm. In a large office, jobs are quite clearly defined and everybody knows what they are responsible for.

The day started like any other, up at 6am and straight to the computer and work. 7am arrives finally, the caf is open. I dress my daughter quickly and head off for my coffee. Today was a bit different to most though, as I pulled up sharply once I got to the front gate. There, a mere two feet from us was a magnificent Australian kookaburra.

How can we be happy? This isnt a particularly common question in our minds as at some point in most days, there will be a time where we feel very happy, but Im talking about a deeper happiness than that, a feeling that is constant and doesnt simply come and go with different day to day situations. And Im not talking about spiritual stuff either, although quite a few people have found happiness that way.

Low self esteem is up at the top of the list with biggest problems in modern society. Self esteem is, according to psychologists, the level pf value a person places on their own worth. As a concept, that seems quite simple, but if you really ask yourself, how highly do I value my own self worth? Then you will see that it is not as simple to answer as it is to ask.

Anger, which is a perfectly normal emotion, can change into something frightening and ugly. The first impression you may have of anger situations may bring about images of a couple fighting, a parent abusing a child or a teenager lashing out at a teacher or a parent. It is rare that images of angry kids come to mind. Unfortunately kids, at very young ages, have to deal with feelings of anger and rage. This is a truth which is often very difficult for adults to understand or cope with.

We can review anger and aggression to have a deeper understanding of our emotions and work toward anger management. Often when someone feels frustrated they are liable to get really angry when their emotions are heightened. Frustration does not arise over night; rather frustration occurs when underlying issues come into focus. So, frustration is a very deep, unrelieved sense or state of lack of confidence and displeasure arising from unsettled grievances or unfulfilled desires.
